Meses depois, o servi\u00e7o de internet por sat\u00e9lite come\u00e7ou a ser oferecido no Brasil, mas com base na antena de primeira gera\u00e7\u00e3o. Mas isso pode mudar em breve. Nesta semana, a\u00a0<strong>Ag\u00eancia Nacional de Telecomunica\u00e7\u00f5es (<a href=\"https:\/\/tecnoblog.net\/sobre\/anatel\/\">Anatel<\/a>)<\/strong>\u00a0homologou a nova antena para uso no Brasil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>O design retangular e o visual limpo tornam a antena de segunda gera\u00e7\u00e3o bastante atraente. Mas o apelo est\u00e9tico \u00e9 um s\u00f3 detalhe. Identificada como&nbsp;<strong>UTA-212<\/strong>, a nova antena leva vantagem por ser mais leve que o modelo anterior, al\u00e9m de ser acompanhada por um roteador mais moderno.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Para ser exato, a antena de primeira gera\u00e7\u00e3o, identificada como UTA-211, pesa 7,3 kg. J\u00e1 o novo modelo tem 4,2 kg. As dimens\u00f5es tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o diferentes, obviamente: a primeira antena tem di\u00e2metro de 58,9 cm; a segunda, tamanho de 50 x 30 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>N\u00e3o est\u00e1 claro se a homologa\u00e7\u00e3o da antena UTA-212 far\u00e1 o modelo UTA-211 ser abandonado imediatamente. O&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/tecnoblog.net\/noticias\/2022\/05\/16\/roteador-da-starlink-e-liberado-pela-anatel-e-ja-pode-ser-usado-no-brasil\/\">roteador UTR-211 foi homologado pela Anatel<\/a>&nbsp;em maio. Esse \u00e9 o equipamento indicado pela SpaceX para o novo modelo de antena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Que fique claro que os roteadores de ambas as antenas suportam o padr\u00e3o 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) e funcionam em 2,4 GHz ou 5 GHz. Mas o roteador UTR-211 sai na frente em dois quesitos: certificado IP54 para resist\u00eancia contra \u00e1gua e suporte ao sistema MU-MIMO 3\u00d73, que permite transmiss\u00e3o simult\u00e2nea em tr\u00eas fluxos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><a href=\"https:\/\/tecnoblog.net\/responde\/mu-mimo-o-que-e\/\">MU-MIMO: o que \u00e9 e como saber se um roteador suporta<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Apesar dos benef\u00edcios, \u00e9 pouco prov\u00e1vel que a renova\u00e7\u00e3o do kit de antena e roteador resulte em mudan\u00e7a de pre\u00e7os. Atualmente, a assinatura da Starlink sai por R$ 530 no Brasil. O kit de instala\u00e7\u00e3o custa R$ 3.000. O movimento mais recente \u00e9 chamado de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.starlink.com\/maritime\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Starlink Maritime<\/a>&nbsp;\u2014&nbsp;<strong>Starlink Mar\u00edtima<\/strong>, em portugu\u00eas.
